new home

My new neighborhood is the kingdom of gardens, lawn ornaments, twinkle lights, and porches.
Someone has an actual pumpkin patch taking up the entirety of their front yard.
 Mary is everywhere.
The sky reminds me of summer evenings playing outside when I was little.
No chain link fence is left without foliage.
 Sunflowers run rampant.
The houses and flowers come in a variety of colors.
This is a neighborhood I've always loved walking through. I really like being here.
What are your favorite things about your neighborhood?

I am in love with your apartment, your new neighbors, and your neighborhood! That Mary statue is soooo pretty - it's identical to the one we have in our backyard except ours is blue! Must make you feel right at home :) Hmmm, maybe we should plant a pumpkin patch in our front yard! haha Love you!, Mummy

What a pretty neighborhood! Mine is really hit or miss. It's a small, rural town that has seen better times, so one old house might be really well kept and pretty, and the house right next door can be falling down. Kind of sad. I do like how safe we feel here though.

Safe is the most important thing! Some of the houses here are rundown, too, but it gives them a kind of charm!
