juniper, spruce, and hemlock

"it caused, in my heart, a forest"
acrylic on masonite, 9x12"
---
This is the new painting I did for The Tattoo Show at the Starkweather Arts Center in Detroit. She has a forest of evergreens tattooed across her chest.
I'll have this and lots of framed/packaged prints in the show. I wish so much that I could go to the opening on July 1st!
Anyway, I hope you're all having a great week and lots of beautiful weather.
xoxo

oh how lovely!!! I love the evergreens, they're sort of subtly eyecatching, (and that reminds me of something a friend is getting soon- he's having some plants from a Victorian botany book tattooed on his arm.) that mix of nature and humanness is wonderful.

Beautiful Amanda,

This one is so amazingly beautiful. I'll have to get it once we move into our new place. It reminds me of Seattle really. Well, my time in Seattle and I love when you paint brunettes, I like to pretend they are me. Silly I know, but it makes me happy.

I've been keeping my eye out for your work every Sunday night during Drop Dead Diva.

love love love,
Kitty
