the final throws of summer

This month, I'm going to do The August Break as a way to capture summer and keep myself posting on here, even if I don't have time to share paintings!  
These are some photos I took of the John Hancock tower and Trinity Church in Copley Square the other day. I always love seeing the way Boston is reflected back in the mirrored windows of the Hancock. On this day, it was impeccably reflecting the clouds. I also love how the incredibly old buildings of Boston still hold their own against the more modern ones - the Trinity never pales in comparison to the Hancock.
