there's a world where I can go and tell my secrets to.

This is one of my favorite places in my new room. There is a fireplace mantel. Beneath it is my writing desk. The mantel itself is the perfect place for many of my animal statues.
Most of my animal statues are black and/or white/cream colored, so I love how they all look together. And I finally got to hang my giant cat lady painting! I think it's the most wonderful place for her.
Someone amazing made me this fox.
I like having my Mary in the middle of all of them. I think she looks like a patron saint of animals.
Tonight is the tiny show opening, and I think I am going, even though I can hear the thunder starting already. Maybe I will see you in Portsmouth!
Love,
Amanda

The first thing I thought of was "It's like a more lively version of the Glass Menagerie!" Clearly I've decided to associate Tennessee Williams with you. Which is an awesome thing. And I'm sorry I haven't checked in on your blog for a while, it looks like lots of exciting things are happening for you - hope it stays that way! xoMadeleine

madeleine, I blog-miss you! haha. I am happy you associate me with tennessee williams; I love him so. And I looove the glass menagerie, and I was thinking the same thing. :)
How are you? I've been really bad at reading others' blogs all summer, too. I have to get back on track.
